Snow Valley is a very unique development. The developer is a long-time local resident who had a vision for premium living that would be convenient while also maximizing the area’s beautiful natural surroundings.
There have been 4 phases so far, with the newest being Cameron Estates. There is an intention to add another phase of homes to the area, however at this time, there is no agreement to move forward. At this point, the community may have reached its limit.
Here are some things you should know if you are considering relocating to this area.
Snow Valley is Upscale and Exclusive
The Springwater community of Snow Valley is definitely upscale. Surrounded by forest and trails, it is easy to get out into nature for a bit of daily “forest bathing”. Snow Valley is also surrounded by farms and farmers’ markets that offer local produce, meat, and seasonal fruit.
There is a uniformity of luxury in Snow Valley that really maintains its appeal and value as well as living enjoyment. These communities are known for having impressive custom-built detached homes.
Snow Valley’s estate lots are positioned in natural settings with tree preservation assured. Each treed lot has a Natural Tree Preservation Zone that offers a natural buffer area that enhances the overall beauty and integrity of the site. There are also subdivision covenants in Snow Valley that are in place in perpetuity to maintain the consistency of the upscale neighbourhood.
Many municipal services are also consistent throughout the township, such as gas, hydro, community water & sewer connection. This is quite different from other communities where you have wells and septic systems that are the responsibility of the owner.
There are also building restrictions included in the covenants. To ensure the integrity of this development the following building restrictions will be strictly adhered to:
- Minimum Bungalow Foundation – 1,800 sq. ft.
- Minimum 2 Storey Foundation – 1,300 sq. ft.
- Exterior Finish – Brick, Stone or Stucco
- Minimum, Garage for 2 vehicles
- Architectural & Fencing restrictions
